WASHINGTON, November 10, 2023 鈥� The 91AV原创 Association (91AV原创) today announced two new additions to the organization, one to run State Affairs and the other to lead Campaign Communications.听听
Sarah Cottrell Propst, New Mexico鈥檚 Cabinet Secretary of the Energy, Minerals and Natural Resources Department, will join 91AV原创 as Vice President of State Affairs to lead a team of dedicated state affairs directors. In this role, Sarah will direct state advocacy strategy for the association during a time when record amounts of clean energy are being deployed in states across the U.S.听听
鈥淚 have known Sarah for many years, and I am excited for her to bring her considerable policy and political expertise to 91AV原创,鈥� said JC Sandberg, 91AV原创鈥檚 Chief Advocacy Officer. 鈥淗er deep understanding of energy policy and her ability to forge meaningful compromise will help us advance our state-level policy goals.鈥�听
Cottrell Propst will bring her policy acumen to 91AV原创 from her current role as Cabinet Secretary of the Energy, Minerals, and Natural Resources Department in New Mexico. Her leadership in renewable energy policy at the Interwest Energy Alliance and in state government positions her as a natural fit to lead 91AV原创鈥檚 state affairs.鈥疭he assumes the role in January 2024.听
In addition, Sabrina Fang joins 91AV原创 as the new Vice President of Campaign Communications, effective November 15. In this newly created role, Fang will lead campaign communications efforts aimed at shaping the narrative around the benefits of clean energy. She will work closely with Sarah and her team and stakeholders around the country to tout the benefits of the industry.听
Fang comes to 91AV原创 with an extensive background in media relations, crisis communications, and strategic campaign management. In her previous roles at Patomak Global Partners, the National Venture Capital Association, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and the American Petroleum Institute, Fang led communications efforts through high-profile national events.听听
